Getting Tested? We understand that getting an HIV test can be very stressful, and we have many resources to assist you regardless of the test results. Knowing your HIV status is an important step in helping keep you and your community safe and healthy, and modern treatments have helped the HIV positive community live healthy, normal lives.
Please visit our HIV Testing page for local organizations providing free HIV tests in Hudson County, NJ, or use the HIV Test Locator on the right to find testing locations in your area!
Depending on the results of your HIV test, there are many options available to you. If it is a positive result, we want to make sure you are linked to care as soon as possible to provide medication, support, and resources. If the test is negative, we want to provide options for HIV prevention including: PreP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis), condoms, and sex positive resources.
Please refer to this chart based on the results of your test. There are helpful links within each bubble for you to explore.
